doomhag I've played this gorgeous fucking album to heavy pieces. An epic offering to the gods! Favorite track: Mother Eternity.
Lute FP
Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP Elements of doom fused with classic late 70s/early 80s metal, with enough bounce to get the toes tapping and a variety of sounds to keep things interesting. But it’s the vocals that really set this apart. Maybe a bit of a Danzig thing stylistically, but processed through an effect that makes it sound like the guy is bellowing from across a cavernous chamber. Very cool sound.

Bucky Sultry sprinkles of Sabbath inspired doom scattered with snippets of Danzig meets early Pentagram, all while sounding original and quite provocative.
Sleeping Villager
Sleeping Villager thumbnail
Sleeping Villager With surprising variety in genre influence, and clear attention given to composition, Vol III is a complex album. More than that, it is a distinct triumph. Whatever they are doing down in Kansas City’s doom department is working inordinately well, with Inner Altar being further proof of actualized potential. Vol III is, quite simply, a wonderful effort. Highly recommended. Full review: www.sleepingvillagereviews.com/reviews/inner-altar-vol-iii Favorite track: Lives of Fire.

Her bones, feeble now they shiver wayward as she weeps from wither seasons swept of sun and the soil unseeded as the earth is spoiled Willing lives you’ve claimed your hallowed hearth, their home forever to the blaze, the holy Vestals thrown Priestess of the pyre, your rightful wrath hath shown unending is the fire, its kindling those unknown A feast heeds the flamethe Goddess regaled as Earth thaws the Triad unveiled As she sleeps, she smiles to give her life to the fire
